Can I get my deposit/payments back if for some reason I am unable to go?
When you pay your deposit, we secure a spot for you with Awanita Valley. At that point, we are obligated to the camp for the spot. For that reason, we will be unable to refund your deposits/payments.
How does everyone get to camp?
Mules. Just kidding. We hire a bus company to take care of transportation to and from FUSE. All of their drivers are professionally licensed drivers who follow some pretty strict regulations—in other words, they’re uber-safe!
Can I/my student make rooming requests?
Yes! When you download the packet, there is a section where you can request people to you’d like to room with. We will do everything we can to honor rooming requests.
What is the payment schedule/when do I need to pay by?
To sign up, you must pay a deposit and complete/turn in the correct paperwork. If you sign up by March 13th, your deposit is $100. If you sign up between March 14th and May 8th, your deposit is $200. No matter when you sign up, your final balance is due on Sunday, May 9th.
What is the absolute last day I can sign up?
We will take sign-ups through Sunday, June 6th.
Who are the adults going?
We take as many of our current adult small group leaders and volunteers as we can. All of our volunteers have been trained and have had a background check run. We will be taking enough adults to have a 1 adult to every 8 students ratio.
We’re going on vacation before/after camp. Is it possible to drop off/pick up my student at camp
Our preference is that a student rides with us to and from camp, although we realize that this is a popular vacation time right after school gets out. If you have a vacation already planned, we will accommodate certain travel changes. If your student will be meeting us there or you will be picking up your student at camp, please contact us at 910-202-8800.
